Dive-site story
Located off the northern tip of Gaya Island in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, North Point features a mixture of large granite boulders and sloping coral reefs. Coral formations here include healthy table corals and sprawling staghorn patches interspersed with sandy gullies. Because the site sits exposed at the point of the island, water movement can sweep over the reef edge, attracting schooling pelagics and active reef life.
Large granite boulder formations hosting sheltered reef life and invertebrates
Expansive fields of hard corals dropping down toward sandy channels
Frequent encounters with schooling fusiliers and foraging sea turtles
