Dive-site story
Tiger Reef is a submerged pinnacle situated between Pulau Labas and Pulau Sepoi northwest of Tioman Island. Rising from a sandy seabed, massive granite boulders form canyon-like crevices and swim-throughs coated in dense soft corals, giant gorgonian sea fans, and barrel sponges. Because the pinnacle is fully submerged in open water, tidal currents regularly wash through the site, drawing pelagic schools and predatory fish looking to hunt.
Submerged granite boulder structure with dramatic swim-throughs and overhangs
Expansive gardens of colorful soft corals and large gorgonian sea fans
Frequent aggregations of hunting pelagic fish in midwater
