Dive-site story
Tokong Burung 2 is part of a cluster of rocky outcrops situated in the waters of the Tioman archipelago. The topography is dominated by submerged granitic boulders piled atop each other, forming tunnels, swim-throughs, and crevices encrusted with soft corals and sea fans. Because the site sits somewhat exposed in open water, tidal currents can pick up, drawing schooling pelagics and predatory fish around the rocky perimeter.
Rugged granite boulder formations and swim-throughs coated in hard and soft corals
Schools of yellowtail barracuda and jacks hovering in open water around the rocks
Frequent encounters with green turtles grazing on soft corals along the reef base
