Dive-site story
Milligerplas is an excavated sand lake located in the Stadshagen district of Zwolle. Divers enter from the shoreline near the recreational beach and follow gradual slopes down to clay formations, peat drop-offs, and submerged training platforms. Aquatic vegetation flourishes along the shallows during warmer months, creating sheltered habitats for native freshwater species.
Steep clay walls and terraces dropping into deeper water
Submerged training platforms often used for dive education
