Dive-site story
Located along the Grevelingenmeer dike near the marina, this training reef features structured artificial habitats placed across a gently sloping bottom. Concrete reef balls and sunken training platforms give marine life substantial hard substrate to colonize. Because the saltwater lake is enclosed, divers encounter virtually no tidal flow, making navigation straightforward along the buoyed lines and compass bearings.
Extensive clusters of concrete reef balls colonized by marine invertebrates
Purpose-built underwater training platforms accessible directly from shore entry stairs
Sheltered conditions free of tidal currents throughout the year

Seasonality
Warmer water temperatures and active invertebrate life make late spring through autumn the most comfortable period to dive.
