Dive-site story
Hapuka Rock, also referred to as Hereheretaura Pinnacle, rises steeply from the seabed off the Coromandel coastline. The exposed volcanic rock structure features vertical walls, boulder-strewn gutters, and kelp-covered ridges that intercept oceanic currents, making it an active focal point for both schooling planktivores and transient pelagic hunters.
