Dive-site story
Located within the Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve, Jan's Tunnel cuts through volcanic rock to create an evocative swim-through lined with dense invertebrate life. Divers pass between dramatic vertical rock faces into a wide natural corridor where light filters through from both ends. Outside the tunnel, kelp forests and boulder fields drop off into deeper open water frequented by schooling subtropical and temperate fish.
