Dive-site story
Rising out of the Gulf of Oman just off the coast of Muscat, this limestone outcrop offers a wide range of underwater terrain including sloping coral gardens, sheer drop-offs, and swim-throughs. The surrounding seabed hosts dense coral growth alongside both pelagic visitors and resident reef fish. Divers frequently encounter resting sharks in the sand patches and along the deeper reefs that step down from the island's perimeter.
