Dive-site story
Situated along the southeastern coastline of Mactan Island facing the Hilutungan Channel, 7 Seas Reef features a shallow fringing reef flat that transitions into a steep drop-off. The coral slope and vertical wall sections shelter macro subjects among sea fans, sponges, and hard coral outcroppings. While the shallow shelf provides benign conditions suitable for training and check-out dives, the deeper drop-off exposes divers to currents channeled between Mactan and Olango Island.
