Dive-site story
Situated along the south coast of Panglao Island, Libaong features a shallow fringing reef top that gently transitions into an angled coral slope. Divers drift along patches of massive hard corals, sea whips, and sponge clusters interspersed with sandy gullies where macro critters take shelter. Because it is slightly less trafficked than the neighboring Alona Beach sites, the hard coral cover remains healthy and provides an easygoing drift dive.
Healthy soft coral gardens and sea whip formations along the slope
Macro hunting among sandy patches and coral rubble
Frequent green sea turtle encounters resting on coral ledges
