Dive-site story
Located off the southwestern tip of the Calumpan Peninsula, Mainit Corner is one of Anilao's premier drift dives. Divers drop into a sloping reef covered with giant gorgonians and barrel sponges that gives way to a rocky headland where strong currents converge. Because nutrient-rich tidal flows sweep past this point, large pelagic species often congregate in the blue just beyond the reef ledge.
