Located on the northern to northeastern flank of Balicasag Island, Royal Garden features a shallow coral plateau that gently rolls into a sloping reef wall. Dense thickets of hard corals, sprawling table corals, and anemone patches dominate the seabed. Divers frequently drift alongside resident green sea turtles grazing on seagrass and sponge cover, while schools of reef fish swarm the reef crest.
