Dive-site story
Located in Tan-awan, Oslob on the southern coast of Cebu, this site is famous for daily morning interactions with whale sharks. Local fishermen feed small sergestid shrimp from non-motorized paddle outriggers just off the beach, drawing several juvenile and adult whale sharks into the shallows. Scuba divers descend directly beneath the line of canoes, observing the animals as they feed vertically in the water column above a gently sloping sandy bottom and scattered coral heads.

Seasonality
