Dive-site story
Located off the eastern coast of Sumilon Island, this vertical drop-off formed part of the Philippines' first marine sanctuary established in the nineteen-seventies. Divers drift along a dramatic limestone precipice smothered in deep-water sea fans, soft coral colonies, and black coral bushes. The face falls abruptly into the blue, where pelagic hunters cruise the boundary between shallow reef and deep channel.
