Dive-site story
Located off the southern coast of Siquijor along the municipality of Lazi, Talayong Marine Sanctuary features a protected fringing reef. The underwater landscape transitions from a shallow coral flat into a gradual reef slope covered with hard coral formations, massive sponges, and soft coral colonies. Due to its status as a local fish sanctuary, the area supports dense populations of reef-associated fauna and macro critters, offering calm conditions suited for macro photographers and relaxed exploratory dives.
