Dive-site story
Talisay Wall drops along the coast of the Island Garden City of Samal into the sheltered waters of Davao Gulf. The reef top features patches of hard corals and seagrass that transition into a steep vertical drop covered in sponges and sea fans. Because the gulf stays relatively protected from open-ocean swells, drift conditions are generally manageable as divers cruise past crevices frequented by banded sea kraits and schooling anthias.
