Dive sites in Poland

Honoratka is a flooded open-cast lignite quarry near Konin that serves as a major inland training base in central Poland. Submerged trees, vertical clay walls, and purpose-sunk attractions linked by guidelines characterize the underwater landscape. Steeper drops lead into cold, dark water with fine clay sediment, drawing recreational and technical divers practicing deep profiles and navigation.

Piechcin is a flooded limestone quarry located in central Poland, well known for its stark white vertical rock walls and unusually clear chalky waters. The quarry bed contains a wide variety of sunken training attractions, including boats, cars, and dedicated training platforms connected by guide lines. Due to its sheltered basin and established dive base facilities, the site is widely used for training courses, recreational buoyancy practice, and deep quarry checkouts.

Deepspot is an indoor multi-level dive simulator facility in Mszczonów. It features simulated underwater caves, stepped platforms, a small wreck structure, and a deep vertical shaft designed for deep training, technical practice, and freediving in a strictly regulated environment.

Zimnik is a flooded former granite quarry in Lower Silesia, popular among Polish divers for training and recreational deep dives. Sheer granite walls plunge directly into dark waters, creating dramatic vertical topography with submerged ledges and industrial relics left behind from mining operations. Below the shallow layer, a distinct thermocline brings chilly conditions, requiring appropriate thermal protection throughout the year.
