Dive-site story
Blue Corner is a submerged promontory extending outward from Palau's southwestern barrier reef into open pelagic water. Swift oceanic currents sweep across the plateau, drawing immense aggregations of pelagics along the vertical drop-offs. Divers commonly deploy reef hooks onto dead rock along the plateau edge to float stationary in the flow while sharks and schooling fish patrol open water just off the wall.
