Dive-site story
Located northeast of Moscow, this flooded dolomite quarry serves as a primary freshwater training ground for regional divers. Maintained by the local dive base, the lake bottom features a network of guidelines linking artificial attractions including submerged cars, training platforms, a sunken boat, and small structural curiosities. Steeper rocky terraces drop through sharp thermoclines into silty quarry basins where visibility shifts dramatically depending on the season.
Submerged training platforms connected by navigation lines across the quarry bed
Sunken vehicles and structures placed specifically for underwater exploration and navigation drills
Regular cold-water and winter ice diving operations hosted right from the shore base
