Dive-site story
The S/S Ingrid Horn is a well-preserved German steam freighter that sank in after a collision with another vessel in the Stockholm archipelago. Resting upright on a soft seabed, the hull and superstructure remain remarkably intact thanks to the cold, low-salinity waters of the Baltic Sea. Divers can examine the deck machinery, winches, cargo holds, and stern section, though cold water gear and redundant lighting are essential for navigating the dark depths.
