Dive-site story
Created by the local dive community to alleviate diver impact on adjacent natural reefs, Buoyancy World is an artificial training park set over an expansive sandy plain. Divers navigate concrete blocks, circular swim-through hoops, pyramid frames, and hollow sculptures designed specifically for honing trim and finning techniques. While primarily constructed as a skills arena, algae, soft corals, and juvenile fish have colonised the structures, creating pockets of life away from the heavy traffic of nearby sites.
Diverse artificial structures, hoops, and tunnels purpose-built for buoyancy practice
Sheltered sandy bottom ideal for slow-paced skill refinement and relaxed exploration
Resident reef inhabitants sheltering inside concrete blocks and pipe networks
