Dive-site story
Located off Koh Ha in the Similan Islands, Hideaway Bay features a sheltered sloping reef transitioning into a wide sandy plateau scattered with granite boulders and artificial reef structures. The protected bay provides relaxed diving conditions suitable for training dives and check-out dives, though moving beyond the reef edge exposes divers to open-ocean currents. Hard coral blocks dominate the shallows, while the sandy plain hosts distinct bottom-dwelling fauna.
Extensive garden eel colonies populating the deeper sandy plains
Leopard sharks resting on open sand patches away from the main reef
Sheltered conditions ideal for gradual depth progression and macro exploration
