Dive-site story
Rising from the deep open sea south of Koh Lanta, these twin submerged pinnacles form Thailand's premier pelagic encounter zone. Hin Daeng breaks the surface with a small exposed rock outcrop before plunging into vertical walls blanketed in red soft corals, while completely submerged Hin Muang drops into deep abyss adorned with purple dendronephthya corals. Oceanic currents funnel vast concentrations of plankton around both pinnacles, attracting apex filter feeders alongside massive schools of jacks and fusiliers.
