Dive-site story
Hin Klai, also known locally as Garang Heng, is a submerged pinnacle reef situated northeast of the Phi Phi archipelago. The reef structure rises from a sandy sea floor toward the surface, crowned with sea anemones and barrel sponges. Because it sits in open water away from the main island mass, it acts as a magnet for schooling pelagics and bottom-dwelling sharks.

Dense carpets of sea anemones teeming with clownfish across the reef crown
Large schools of chevron barracuda and yellowtail snappers circling in open water
