Dive-site story
Hin Lak Ngam is an offshore submerged rock formation located within the waters of Chumphon Marine National Park. Large granite boulders rise from a sandy seabed, completely carpeted with sprawling sea anemone colonies and black coral trees. Schools of pelagic fish patrol the surrounding blue water, making it one of the premier open-water pinnacle sites in the northern Gulf of Thailand.
Extensive fields of sea anemones covering the upper rock formations
Schools of yellowtail barracuda and jacks orbiting the pinnacle edges
Occasional encounters with passing whale sharks during peak season
