Dive-site story
Sunk intentionally in late 2012 as an artificial reef off the southwest coast of Koh Chang, this former US Navy tank landing ship rests upright on a flat sandy bottom. Divers explore several accessible levels, from the expansive open deck and bridge tower down through cargo holds and engine passageways. Large schools of pelagics and resident predators constantly patrol the superstructure.
Extensive penetration corridors across multiple interior decks for trained wreck divers
Dense aggregations of barracuda and batfish hanging around the main mast and radar tower
Massive hull structure now heavily encrusted with soft corals, sponges, and anemones
