Dive-site story
Khao Na Yak sits off the coastal headland of Hat Thai Mueang National Park in Phang Nga province. The site consists of shallow granite boulder clusters scattered over a sandy seabed, flanked by hard coral patches. Because of its sheltered bays and modest profile, it serves mainly as a calm training ground, refresher site, and macro-focused local dive along the Andaman coast.
Extensive patches of staghorn and pore coral sheltering juvenile reef fish
Sandy bottom areas where blue-spotted stingrays and pipefish forage
Granite boulder swim-throughs and crevices hiding macro critters like nudibranchs and snapping shrimp
