Dive-site story
Located off Mae Haad Beach on the northwestern tip of Koh Phangan, Koh Ma is a small islet connected to the mainland by an exposed sandbar at low tide. The fringing reef descends gradually into sandy patches littered with hard coral bommies, sea whips, and anemone fields. Divers explore the southern and western slopes where submerged boulders create small crevices inhabited by macro life and juvenile reef fish.
Extensive gardens of sea anemones inhabited by saddleback and pink skunk clownfish
Gentle sloping terrain well-suited for novice divers and training sessions
Frequent encounters with blue-spotted stingrays resting on sandy channels
