Dive-site story
Located within the protected waters of Mu Ko Chang National Park south of Koh Rang, Koh Yak is a small rocky islet ringed by shallow hard coral gardens. Large boulder clusters on the deeper edge give way to sandy patches where rays rest, while dense staghorn and table coral formations cover the sunlit shallows. The calm conditions and gentle slope make it a favored spot for relaxed exploration and macro photography.
Extensive gardens of healthy staghorn and massive porites corals
Frequent encounters with blue-spotted ribbontail rays resting on the sand perimeter
Sheltered conditions suitable for long bottom times and relaxed buoyancy practice
