Lampione
Lampione is a solitary, uninhabited rocky islet in the Pelagie archipelago, rising sharply out of deep open water. Underwater, sheer limestone walls plunge to a boulder-strewn seabed, bathed in exceptional Mediterranean visibility. The remote outpost is renowned across Europe for seasonal aggregations of sharks cruising the perimeter drop-offs alongside pelagic schools.
