Dive-site story
Sunk deliberately as an artificial reef off the coast of Checheng, the ROCS Chung Cheng (中正艦) is a massive decommissioned landing ship dock resting upright on an open sandy seabed. Strong currents frequently sweep the hull, requiring sound gas management and good negative descent techniques. The superstructure rises up from the seafloor, heavily encrusted with soft corals, seafans, and sponges that shelter schools of pelagics and resident predators.

Dense clusters of soft corals and seafans covering the gun mounts and bridge
Resident schools of batfish and patrolling pelagic jacks circling the upper decks
