Dive-site story
Situated along the northwest shore of Xiaoliuqiu, Meiren Cave features a gently sloping coral reef dissected by sandy patches and shallow channels. Divers enter directly from the rocky shoreline down a paved pathway, traversing a shallow reef flat before reaching the deeper outer reef. The location serves as an essential grazing ground and resting station for resident green sea turtles.
Reliable encounters with foraging and resting green sea turtles
Expansive coral terraces cut through with white sand channels
Colonies of garden eels swaying along the deeper sandy perimeter

Seasonality
Summer offers the flattest sea conditions on the northern coast, though diving remains active through winter thanks to warm Kuroshio branch currents.
