Dive-site story
Located off the southern coast of Penghu Main Island, this site lies just seaward of the historic traditional stone tidal weir at Shanshui. Divers navigate a mix of volcanic basalt formations, sandy patches, and scattered hard coral bommies. Summer offers calm sea states and comfortable water conditions, whereas the strong winter northeast monsoon makes the site inaccessible for much of the colder half of the year.
