Dive-site story
Located along the western coastline of the Hengchun Peninsula, Wanlitong features a gradual shoreline entry that transitions from shallow intertidal limestone flats into rich coral gardens and patch reefs. Coral gullies and sandy channels dissect the reef structure, offering natural pathways for navigation. Because it faces west, the site remains relatively sheltered from the prevailing northeast monsoon that affects other parts of Kenting during the winter months.
Extensive hard coral coverage with table, branching, and brain corals along sandy channels
Network of rocky crevices, swim-throughs, and coral overhangs sheltering macro critters
Calm entry point sheltered from strong northeasterly seasonal winds

Seasonality
Divable year-round due to shelter from northeast monsoon winds, though summer months offer the warmest water temperatures and clearest conditions outside of passing tropical storms.
