Dive-site story
Fisherman's Cove is a sheltered sandy beach in Laguna Beach, bordered by rocky headlands that separate it from Diver's Cove to the south. Shore divers frequently use the sandy entry to access the low-profile rocky reefs running along both the left and right margins of the cove. Beyond the central sandy channel, patches of giant kelp take root on scattered boulders, providing structure for local inshore species.
Protected sandy beach entry with easy navigation along flanking rocky reefs
Macro hunting opportunities among crevices, hydroids, and encrusting sponges
Frequent encounters with resident horn sharks and bat rays resting on the sand
