Dive-site story
Sunk in early 2017 as part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Artificial Reef Program, the Kraken is a massive dedicated cargo vessel resting upright on the sandy seabed far offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. The hull stands largely intact, offering wide deck spaces, gaping cargo holds, and towering wheelhouse architecture that act as an oceanic oasis in open water.
