Dive-site story
Martha's Quarry is a flooded limestone quarry in Wilson County, Tennessee, long utilized as a regional training site and recreational freshwater dive spot. Sheer rock walls drop down to a silty basin scattered with sunken training platforms, submerged vehicles, and small runabout boats. Thermoclines can be sharp throughout the warmer months, causing water temperatures to drop dramatically below the surface layer.
