Dive-site story
Situated just off the coast of Nha Trang, Hon Tam features a sheltered coral reef sloping gently over a sandy floor. The calm, shallow topography makes it a frequent training ground for entry-level courses, refresher dives, and casual afternoon touring. While inshore runoff can reduce clarity compared to the outer marine reserve at Hon Mun, the reef structure supports healthy clusters of hard corals and active macro life.
Protected, low-current conditions well suited for training and photography practice
Expansive patches of massive brain coral and branching staghorn corals
Macro subjects tucked into coral crevices, including banded cleaner shrimp and nudibranchs
