Dive-site story
Serving as the central hub of Sodwana Bay's diving within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, this sprawling sandstone reef complex is partitioned into numerous distinct sections, including Anton's, Pinnacles, and Coral Gardens. Gentle topography dominated by hard and soft coral cover creates an expansive habitat for tropical Indo-Pacific species alongside subtropical marine life. Divers reach the reef via surf launches in semi-rigid inflatables, drifting across low ledges, gullies, and shallow amphitheatres.
Diverse reef sections ranging from dense hard coral gardens to sandy-bottom amphitheaters
Regular interactions with green and loggerhead turtles resting under rocky ledges
Seasonal congregations of sand tiger sharks sheltering in quiet gullies
