Dive-site story
Askholmene consists of a small cluster of islets situated in the narrow Drøbak Sound of the inner Oslofjord. Divers descend along steep granite walls and tumbled boulder fields that drop down into the fjord basin. Kelp canopies cover the shallower zones, giving way to rock faces covered in plumose anemones, dead man's fingers, and cold-water ascidians.
Steep fjord drop-offs layered with northern sea anemones
Macro photography opportunities among red algae and bryozoan colonies
Sheltered rocky crevices inhabited by large edible crabs and squat lobsters
