Askholmene consists of a small cluster of islets situated in the narrow Drøbak Sound of the inner Oslofjord. Divers descend along steep granite walls and tumbled boulder fields that drop down into the fjord basin. Kelp canopies cover the shallower zones, giving way to rock faces covered in plumose anemones, dead man's fingers, and cold-water ascidians.

Aspond is an island situated in the Oslofjord north of Drøbak, characterized by dramatic rocky topography that drops off sharply into deep water. Divers explore steep rock faces, boulder fields, and crevices covered in cold-water marine growth. The island is typically accessed by boat, offering classic Nordic fjord diving with dramatic vertical relief and rich invertebrate colonies.

Muren, also known as the Jeté in Drøbaksundet, is a historic artificial underwater defense wall built in the nineteenth century to protect Oslo from naval incursions. The submerged stone structure runs across parts of the fjord, providing a distinct artificial reef habitat that drops down along tiered boulders. The rock blocks are heavily colonized by cold-water invertebrates and provide shelter for classic North Sea and fjord species.

Located near Bodø, Saltstraumen generates exceptionally powerful tidal currents. Water rushes through this narrow strait with each tidal shift, driving intense nutrient turnover. Divers time descents to catch the brief slack-water window or drift along sheer walls blanketed by cold-water anemones. Tangle kelp anchors the shallows before the rock drops into shadowy canyons where predatory fish and bottom-dwellers shelter in rocky fissures.
