Dive-site story
Sunk intentionally in 2007 as an artificial reef off Kara Ada, the former Turkish Coast Guard patrol boat rests upright on an open seabed. The vessel was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for divers before scuttling, allowing accessible exterior circuits and straightforward swim-through opportunities through the wheelhouse and upper decks. Surrounding patches of Posidonia seagrass give way to a sandy expanse where the hull creates a striking silhouette against the Aegean blue.
Intact superstructure with easily navigable deck areas and wheelhouse passages
Schools of Mediterranean fish sheltering under the bow and along the railings
Good natural ambient light penetrating down to the main deck
