Located off Karaada near Bodrum, Paçoz Bay is home to an intentionally scuttled Douglas C-47 Dakota aircraft. Sunk by the local diving association to form an artificial reef, the vintage military transport plane sits on a sloping sandy seabed. Storm action over the years has broken the fuselage into distinct sections, opening up interior frames to ambient light and creating shelter for resident Mediterranean fauna.

Sunk intentionally in 2007 as an artificial reef off Kara Ada, the former Turkish Coast Guard patrol boat rests upright on an open seabed. The vessel was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for divers before scuttling, allowing accessible exterior circuits and straightforward swim-through opportunities through the wheelhouse and upper decks. Surrounding patches of Posidonia seagrass give way to a sandy expanse where the hull creates a striking silhouette against the Aegean blue.
